MATCHBOX _ I cucù per chi ama collezionare le scatole di fiammiferi.
 
Il cucù si sa è un uccellino pigro che, piuttosto che costruirsi il suo nido, utilizza quello degli altri uccelli. Oggi invece ha trovato una nuova casetta, una vecchia scatola di fiammiferi svedesi e tra un’ora e l’altra si diverte a dondolare l’ultimo fiammifero rimasto.
Le scatole dei fiammiferi svedesi hanno rappresentato per molti anni il mezzo ideale per una rapida diffusione di informazioni. Avvenimenti politici, guerre, attentati, catastrofi, nascite e matrimoni di regnanti, scoperte scientifiche sono solo alcuni degli argomenti illustrati sulle confezioni di fiammiferi e cerini.
Il designer Marco Bedognetti ripropone la scatola dei fiammiferi per una nuova collezione di orologi a cucù “MATCHBOX”, per i quali l’artista Nicole Da Porto, ispirandosi alle pubblicità degli spettacoli circensi, ha creato 4 temi grafici: i “PirondiniS Circus”

MATCHBOX _ The cuckoos for those who love to collect matchboxes
The cuckoo is known to be a lazy bird that, rather than building its nest, uses that of other birds. Today, however, he found a new house, an old box of Swedish matches and between one hour and the next he enjoys swinging the last match left.
Swedish matchboxes have been the ideal medium for the rapid dissemination of information for many years. Political events, wars, attacks, disasters, births and marriages of rulers, scientific discoveries are just some of the topics illustrated on the packaging of matches.
The designer Marco Bedognetti re-proposes the matchbox for a new collection of cuckoo clocks "MATCHBOX", for which the artist Nicole Da Porto, inspired by advertisements for circus shows, has created 4 graphic themes: the "PirondiniS Circus"
